Deposit and Cancellations: Thank you for booking your holiday at Colonial Bay. What sets us apart from large hotels and big chains is the personal service you receive from us. We are able to do this because of the size of our resort - just 15 rooms and cottages. Because of our small size, cancellations and changes affect us significantly and we have little chance to re-book cancelled reservations. Therefore, we must adhere to a firm cancellation policy.
Summer Season - weekly bookings July and August: Cancellations before April 1st forfeit deposit unless the accommodation is re-rented for the same time period as the original reservation. A 100.00 administration fee will apply.
Cancellation made April 1st and later forfeit deposit.
Cancellation made within 4 weeks of arrival date are liable for the full reservation costs. This will automatically be billed to your credit card. If the accommodation is re-rented for the same time period only the deposit will be forfeited.
All other times: Cancellations made less than 28 days prior to arrival date forfeit deposit.
Cancellations made within 2 weeks of arrival are liable for the full reservation costs.
Deposits: Weekly reservations $300.00/ week.
All other reservations 50%, minimum deposit equals 1 night.
Deposit payable by MasterCard, Visa, or Cheque.
Check In Time: 3:00 P.M. or after. Where possible we will accommodate early check in. The early check in fee is 25% of the daily rate and arrangements must be made prior to arrival.
Check Out Time: 10:00 A.M. or before. Where possible we will accommodate late check out. The late check out fee is 25% of the daily rate and arrangements must be made the evening before.
